Just discovered Madeleine on France Inter public radio and fell in love. In the
french reviews they qualify her as a lounge singer. I don't know if she would
like that. Too me it's all blues. Music from deep inside. Her singing makes
me dream, the timbre of her voice is my madeleine of Proust (honest I had
that thought before I knew the story of her name) It takes me back to the
hay days of the west coast in the early 70 listening to Maria Muldaur or Mary
Ann Price at the Sweet Water and other bars north of San Francisco. It is
definitly the kind of music I'd like to listen live and enjoy the wonderfull
presence Madeleine have as I can sense it from the video. I don't go much
to California those days. Can we hope to see her in concert in France
someday? Please.

Madeleine has performances in France at the end of November.
