Thank you to Rick Hanson for fixing the hyperlinks in my post.  I hope everyone enjoys these songs.

I'm posting a couple collections of Madeleine Peyroux rarities here,
that others will be kind enough to do the same. I'm particularly
interested in that "At The Christmas Ball" bonus track from Dreamland
and also any
recording of songs from the NPR "Piano Jazz" performance. It's very easy
to upload songs via - , which is the service I've used.

Okay, so I've compiled two .zip files of songs. All you do is open the link
in your browser, download the file, and then open it using a program like
WinRAR or WinZIP, both of which are readily available all over the internet

This first set is rare recordings released on various albums over the years.
If you're curious to know what albums they originate from, just look
around the forum. Here's the tracklist:

1. Rock Island Line
2. Life Is Fine   (her best recording ever!!!)
3. In The Wee Small Hours Of The Morning
4. He's Got Me Goin'
5. Give Your Mama One Smile
6. Hesitation Blues
7. A Fool At The Other (duet)
8. I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry
9. Between The Devil And The Deep Blue Sea
10. I Wish That I Could Shimmy Like My Sister Kate

Use only one of the links. Each contain the full set: - First Link - Second Link

And this second set contains her recent radio performances for KCRW and
KEXP. The tracklist goes like this:

Live @ KCRW:
1. Dance Me To The End Of Love
2. Don't Wait Too Long
3. You're Gonna Make Me Lonesome When You Go
4. J'ai Deux Amours
5. Careless Love
6. I'll Look Around
Live @ KEXP
1. Between The Bars
2. Don't Cry Baby
3. Don't Wait Too Long

And here are the links. Use only one. Both contain the full set: - One - Two

These will only be up for a week. It would be really cool if someone who
downloads them re-uploads to share them with people who miss out the
first time around.

I deleted and added Mratthew's original post to fix the links. I tried to edit in place and couldn't do it.

So the order of the posts is now backwards. The first post should actually be the second.

Mratthew, hope you don't mind my fixing the links and reposting.

Mratthew - thanks for posting the rarities.  I know the source for most of them except one.

Grateful for information on what album "Rock Island Line" can be found

Thanks RichardS

Hello all,

Saw a beautiful performance by Madeline last night in London, and it's got me itching for more, which led me to this site.  Unfortunately the links here are now outdated.  Could anyone be so kind as to repost the files?  Please :)

As I was roaming the forum today I remembered when this post came out and so I tried to get on the links which I soon discovered where no longer active. But I remembered when they were put on this forum and went and looked on my old harddrive (my computer crashed twice since I originally downloaded them) I found them still in tack and am now listening to these treasures. I had forgotton how good they were.  Ms Madeleine really is a treasure.
