   Without a doubt one of the worst live performances in this city.  I was amazed that she had been included in our jazz concert series through the Nashville symphony.  It is an acustically wonderful venue, and Nashville folks know music...

After the first set with Joe Pub trying to poorly channel Bob Dylan most people were looking forward to her redeeming the night.  By the end of her second song people were looking for the exits.

It was just that bad.

The rest of my table and I left after around the 6th song.  At least 25 people had left between each of the previous songs.  The ushers kept thinking it was over from how many people were leaving after songs.  Our entire shuttle heading back to the restaurant commented on how bad the performance was.  Her backup band was good - it was the singing.  Her french tune was actually good  - the rest were a tonal mess.  We bought the jazz series and did not have a choice about this concert.  This was not the venue for her - she must be an aquired taste.

That was an event in no way worth the money we paid.

	Just got an e-mail from the Nashville Symphony today - They recieved so many complaints they are offering to give a ticket to another upcoming event of our choosing to replace that evening in the series to all of the season ticket holders. Looks like Madeleine is better suited for a smaller - more intimate venue. I am sorry she had such a bad evening there. That venue was obviously not what she was comfortable with.
