I often browse ITUNES for my favourite artists to see if any new
recordings come up.

I was really excited to find a new recording featuring Madeleine.

It is a song by Phil Roy entitled Excepionally Ordinary. There is a
wonderful little intro with Madeleine joking with Phil before they start
playing. It is the lyrics of the song that I find utterly charming " ... there
is poetry to see in the exceptionally ordinary". A very soulful song and of
course a great addition to my collection of Madeleine recordings.

Unlike you, I don't like the song a lot. But any song with Madi on it is a must have. I think I have every Madi song out there.

is there anywhere i can find that recording other than Itunes? i dont have an ipod, so i guess im SOL huh?

Welcome to the forum. You ask where you can get a copy of the track "Exceptionally Ordinary" by Phil Roy and featuring Madeleine.

You can of course buy the album (hard copy) it is called "The Great Longing".   You can also download a digital version from the internet – either from ITunes or from various other sites. You don’t have to have an ipod to listen to the music if you have a computer – you can play it from there or burn it onto a CD with other songs and then you can listen on your normal CD player. You should check out other songs of Madi’s on the internet that do not appear on her own albums. If you check out the forum there are a range of references to them.

I hope this helps you track down the song.

I'm with Saramadi. not crazy about the song, thought I've heard better
from Phil Roy. Madi sounds great.

She did! Madeleine was just in Texas. I check her schedule on a fairly
regular basis to see when I might next be able to catch a show.

She was in Houston and Fort Worth I think just last month.

Check out her tour schedule.
