I just heard Madi Peyroux for the first time a few mins ago and LOVE her !! I received a 6-song sampler in snail mail from Heineken and the first track was "Dance me to the end of Love".

For those of you who collect everything they can find of hers, here are the details (even though this cut is obviously available on her last CD): "Nip/Tuck Season 3 Music Cuts" presented by Heineken.

I have heard only one song she's done, and I know I am immediately and hopelessly addicted. I am headed to the record store tomorrow, and am looking forward to Sept's CD as well.

Glad to meet you Madi fans,

Welcome to the family.

Be sure to read my post "Do You Have These". Within it and all the replies you will find most of what Madi has recorded. You won't find the CDs from her The Lost Wandering Blues and Jazz Band days in any record store. And you proably won't find "Got You On My Mind" there either. Perservere and you can find them on the web.

Enjoy the music and have fun.

You may also be interested in listening to some NPR stuff on Madi:

Sheila Kast interviews Madeleine on Weekend Edition:

The interview with Noah Adams of All Things Considered seems to be gone from the site as does her recording of "Do You Know What It Means To Miss New Orleans" from the Marian McPartland Piano Jazz site.
