Just got back from the Blue Note after seeing Madeleine tonight. Unfortunately we could not stay for the second show. I hope to have pictures up in the next couple of days.
Madeleine was in fine form tonight singing both old and new songs. She seemed to be enjoying herself. She sounded great and the players backing her were excellent. This is the last night of performances at the Blue Note. She'll be touring in the Midwest, opening for Jewel, Don Henley and Shawn Colvin. |

I saw MP at the Blue Note in NYC on July 3, and it was simply the best show I have seen in years. I stayed for both sets. I had long been a fan, but had never seen her live. I am anxious to see her again. She announced that a new album is set for September release. |
